OMG I’m so sad to be writing this post but I just had the worst Brunch experience. THIS IS ONLY ABOUT SUNDAY BRUNCH. CD is 5 stars for me every other meal. I got the Steak & Eggs and my mom got the Blueberry pancakes. Everything on my plate was too salty. And the pancakes were weirdly salty as well and not done all the way. The pear mimosa I had was good, but otherwise the food taste was really disappointing. I’m not sure if the Sunday brunch is new for them or a new chef, but I don’t think I’d come back to find out. 😔

Nicely prepared food, but the menu hasn't changed for 15 years. Love what they have, but i'd like to see what they could do with something different. If you are just visiting Solomon's, you should check them out though. The curry chicken salad sandwich is awesome.

Wonderful. Simply wonderful. The service was great, food was amazing and the facilities were clean. Thank you guys for the amazing time.

We had one of the best meals ever here! How many times have you asked "where did the chef study?"...right...never! Well, I did because it was simply that good and noticeably prepared by someone special. I'll keep it to myself so you can experience the answer for yourself. It's a cozy restaurant with about 12 4-tops, so there may be a wait depending when you get there. We were lucky and walked right up to the last open table!

This place is my favorite. I eat in many restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the cooking they place on your table is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a nice meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Love the quaint atmosphere, the tables are not too close, the service was excellent and the food was amazing! We had the scallop appetizers and chicken and pork roast dishes and they were all delicious. Everything had such great flavor. For dessert, we had the chocolate key lime pie and orange gingerbread bread pudding over ice cream. We wanted something different and it was worth the try. This is our new go-to place in Calvert County for a delicious dinner in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Love dining here. Comfortable cafe atmosphere. Delightful menu. Friendly staff. My wife and I usually go here to celebrate our anniversary. The specials have been delicious.

Great food and service. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, it was delicious and a large portion. They also had a wide variety of beers and some crafts for only $4 at regular price.

The savory cheesecake is literally the best thing I have ever put in my mouth! It's a small place but the food is absolutely amazing. The vegetarian sandwich and the chicken wrap were delicious especially alongside the Asian broccoli slaw.

Always excellent! Their daily specials are so different and so delicious. I enjoy the fish pairings but you can't miss with pastas or other options. CD chicken salad is awesome. Service is consistent and friendly. If you don't leave room for dessert get one to go. You won't be disappointed.

Our food was excellent and the service was great. I highly recommend the pork ribeye and curry chicken salad. Great value and I highly recommend.

Just fantastic. No other words to describe it. The entree was delicious. The beer selection was great. And to top it off the Nutella cheesecake was... of the gods... Definitely impressed and will be back!

Food was excellent as usual. Five of us had full meals and desserts. Service was sparse and could have been better. None of our drinks were refilled until long after we had eaten while other tables seemed to be well attended. Unfortunate because previous visits the service was as good as the food and I tip very well.

Small, but cozy. They were almost full on a Wednesday night. Delicious food with vegetables cooked and grilled as they should be. Seasonal beer was good. Overall a plaze I could recommend.

Limited seating and low light makes this a perfect choice for special occasions or a date. The food is some of the best in town. The lounge area behind the main dining room is great too, it's full service and is an excellent, more relaxed alternative if there are no tables in the main dining area.

The rave reviews I heard about this place is true. Nobody orders off the menu, they order the specials, and we observed this at lunch there the other day. The food, service, and everything was AWESOME!

Friends invited us to their place and we ordered our dinner carryout from CD Cafe. This was my first experience at CD and my husband and I plan for it not to be our last! The food was amazing! We each (4 people) ordered different selections and we loved everything! I have never left a review for a restaurant but I figured my best compliment to the chef would be to give well-deserved public accolades for a job superbly done!

Probably the most consistently wonderful dining experiences in Solomons. Their go-to items, especially the Mediterranean pasta, are always top notch and their specials are always delicious and creative. Your taste buds are definitely not bored here. This is also a place you definitely want to leave room for dessert. They have some recurring desserts like key lime pie, chocolate lava cake, and their creme brulees which are spectacular. The best 2 creme brulee I've ever had have come from this place, a petite blueberry and an Oreo version. If there's one place in the island you can grab dinner, this is the best place to go.

Had dinner here on a Sunday evening, lovely little restaurant with a very friendly and homely feel to it. Loads of choice on the menu plus a number of specials which change twice per day. The specials have lots of seafood choices, which is not surprising given how close to the water the restaurant is. The main menu includes salads, burgers, wraps, pasta dishes, steaks and seafood. I had a very tasty pad thai which had plenty of rice noodles plus pork rib-eye and shrimp and the right amount of spice, just enough for a bit of a kick. Also had nice local lager with dinner. The waitresses were brilliant, explaining the dishes and detailing all the daily specials.

We had a wonderful Brunch on Sunday. They have terrific specials every day, it's sometimes hard to choose just one. Service is always friendly and efficient.

Always enjoy going there. The specials are always great, prepared with the best fresh seasonal ingredients. Old standbys from the menu like the crabs cakes are excellent as well. Salads are always quality. Maybe the best restaurant in the area.

Amazing as usual. Everything on the menu is great. The specials are always wonderful, little gems. Had the swordfish special tonight. One of the best to date. CDs is one of the top restaurants in the area. Never disappoints.

Very cozy atmosphere with a lounge on one side of the building and a restaurant on the other side. You can eat on both sides...lounge is more casual. I was disappointed that they were out of my favorite wine but our server came up with another selection. I ordered the blackened salmon and thought it was a bit over cooked but the flavor was delicious. It came with asparagus and rice which were nothing special. Overall it was a good meal...great service and not too pricey.

The Popeye burger is the best burger I've had hands down! It was cooked perfectly for medium well. It was super juicy! And the cheese they put on it just melts in your mouth! I will come back. Joe was on the grill, he's awesome!

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Southern Maryland! I absolutely love the CD Cafe! The food is wonderful, the service is impeccable, and the environment is as warm and relaxing as you could ever want. The dining area is a little small, but they have things set up to maximize the space without having tables too close together. Highly recommend! I wish other local establishments would take note. Thank you CD Cafe and keep up the great work!!!

The food is delicious. Been 3x in the 3 months I've visited Solomons. A must stop for foodies.

Very unique menu choices, however the food was exquisite. Too bad they have only limited seating space. This is a must try restaurant.

OMG....we were so glad to hear that the Cafe would be open for carry-out. My husband insisted on eating there for his 50th birthday. We ordered the crab cake and pork chop entrees. They both were super fantastic. Thanks for making my husband's birthday extra special. Take care and be well.
